I'm a representation of homeland.
How can
we say we know, but somehow we still do not know? Eyes are meant for seeing yet
it is wide open with no vision of knowledge. A blind man sees things
unimaginative not physical essentially spiritual.
“All
human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature,
compulsions, habit, reason, passion, desire”. (Aristotle)
We have
come a long way from living in the dark and taking our generation and our
unborn generation down the same doom. Great men and women have fought greatly
to preserve our history and our heritage for us to tell tales with pride and
humidity. We embrace the stories with ignorance and attitude, instead of
gratification of appreciation.
Do things your way even though no one else gets it because in the long run it will make you bright and confident in yourself.
“Apply
yourself both now and in the next life. Without effort, you cannot be
prosperous. Though the land is good, you cannot have an abundant crop without
cultivation”. (Plato)
Is
being civilized a new age for idiotic teachings that embrace who we need to be? And to make necessary changes to fit into a society that is structured?
Can you
really blend in with a society that does not know what it means to walk a day in your
shoes? I got to say it will hurt to do that.
Should
I look, talk, walk, or be like you; to be taken serious or given the same equal
opportunity as you? Just because you can't understand my ways, or it's
difficult for you to accept what is not usually comfortable with the standard
of “norm”. My answer is NO. I am a tall dark skin beauty, intelligent, kind, joyful, affectionate, dependable, courageous, ambitious, creative, and friendly. Homeland is me. Please be yourself and nobody else.
